Partnership with Others - B.R.E.A.D

B.R.E.A.D.
Christ Lutheran Church is a participating congregation in B.R.E.A.D.,

address core public issues pertaining to crime, safety, jobs, poverty, and
education. B.R.E.A.D. represents 43 congregations, over 40,000 people…issues
included access to health care, transportation, education and affordable
housing.
Mission:
The mission of the B.R.E.A.D. organization is to draw together people of faith
to act powerfully on local issues of justice and fairness through the process of
relationship building, direct action, and negotiation with decision makers.
This simple mission statement does not do justice
to the powerful way in which we are rewarded working through and for B.R.E.A.D.
Here is the place where you and I can make a real, measurable difference in our
community. Here is the place where we, as individuals, can break down the walls
that divide us. And, here is the place where we can reach out to others of all
faiths, to join us on this terrific journey on behalf of all citizens of
Columbus.
Bread Rises!
